How the Oktoberfest™ Beer Stein is made
Our beer stein is elaborately crafted by the traditional company RASTAL, a long-standing license partner of the City of Munich. The stein is made of salt-glazed stoneware.

The official Oktoberfest™ Beer Stein 2025 with Pewter Lid
Our official Oktoberfest™ Beer Stein with pewter lid and printed with this year's winning motif, designed by two designer students from Munich, puts the spotlight on the true heroes of the festival. In their award-winning motif, Amiera Harithas and Dinah-Charles Francis pay tribute to those who make the festival possible in the first place with their hard work: Waiters, showmen and helpers. In a stylized stamp look, the annual motif combines joie de vivre, humour and Bavarian hospitality.

The official Oktoberfest™ Beer Stein is elaborately crafted by the traditional company Rastal, a long-standing licence partner of the City of Munich. It is made of salt-glazed stoneware and is full of traditional craftsmanship. Our beer stein are strictly limited. Due to the traditional manufacturing process, jugs may show slight individual variations.
Our Oktoberfest™ Original Beer Stein "A scheene Wiesn" with details in real gold is the product of a first-ever themed collaboration between two special partners:
the City of Munich and the Bavarian Palace Administration.
And this stein, it feels like the first time, comes entirely without a heart and pretzel.
The storytelling of the design creates appealing connections between history and the present; its richness ensures that the stein never
gets boring.
The idea, the concept, the design, and the presentation come from KulturGut AG, the company that, among other things, develops and
produces the themed products for the Bavarian Palace Administration's museum shops.
KulturGut Board Member Harald Brunnhuber: "Culture is many things, but all of it is unique, and we make products out of it. It was
more than overdue that we, as a Munich-based company, created a product to reflect the uniqueness "Oktoberfest".
